Kevin Luchmun is the founder and Creative Director of Luchmun Studios and an internationally recognised leader in men’s hairdressing and barbering. With over 20 years of experience, he is known for combining technical precision with modern creativity. A two-time British Hairdressing Awards Men's Hairdresser of the Year (2013 & 2024), Kevin has worked with leading brands, publications and global stages. Formerly International Art Director at Toni & Guy, he now serves as International Artistic Team Lead for Andis. Alongside education, Kevin is an acclaimed photographer, creating fashion-led campaigns that blend hair, creativity and visual storytelling.

Connor Murphy-Chesterton has been immersed in hairdressing since 2007, inspired by his grandmother and beginning as a Saturday assistant before qualifying through an apprenticeship. He found his passion in barbering, specialising in precision scissor work and modern clipper techniques. While travelling across Asia, he refined his craft by cutting hair in hostels, later developing his skills in Afro-Caribbean and traditional Italian barbershops. An award-winning barber, Connor was named Barber of the Year 2024. He is also an experienced educator at West Suffolk College and a member of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s PROJECT: Men & Media, continually pushing his creativity and technical expertise.

Roxanne Batt has over 13 years of industry experience. Originally from South Africa, she has built an impressive career, owning her own salon and winning the Perfect Cut and Street Style awards in 2020. Now based in the UK, Roxanne is a member of the Artero Artistic Team and is passionate about continuous education, creativity and technical excellence. Alongside delivering exceptional barbering, she is committed to inspiring the next generation through education and mentoring. Her goal is to use barbering to create opportunities, build confidence and make a positive impact within communities both in the UK and internationally.

Meet Kyle Thompson, the newest member of the Luchmun Studios team.  A barber since 2017, Kyle was inspired by his mum, who is also a barber, and began developing his skills by cutting friends’ hair after school. His journey later took him to Spain, where he worked with a diverse range of hair types, expanded his expertise and became fluent in Spanish. Passionate about growth and innovation, Kyle combines the precision of men’s hairdressing with traditional barbering. His creativity, dedication and drive make him a fantastic addition to the team.

At 28, Luke already has 12 years of experience behind the chair. After beginning his journey at Harlow College, he stepped straight into shop life and never looked back. With experience in both traditional and Afro barbershops, Luke is confident working with all hair types and styles, delivering precision, versatility, and consistency. His career highlights include working in leading salons and cutting on stage at Salon International. Now focused on moving into education, Luke hopes to inspire the next generation while keeping the studio entertained with his self-proclaimed comedy skills.

Joe Mills began his barbering journey just over a year ago while studying at college, quickly showing natural talent and dedication. Since joining Luchmun Studios, he has trained alongside some of the country’s most respected barbers and has been personally mentored by Kevin Luchmun. Now cutting four days a week in a fast-paced shop, Joe continues to sharpen his technique, discipline, and professional standards. Focused and driven, his goal for 2026 is to build a loyal clientele while developing his own signature style as a modern barber.

Liv is a qualified hairdresser and barber with four years of salon experience. She completed her Level 3 Hairdressing and Level 2 Barbering qualifications at Hertford Regional College. Passionate about every aspect of hair, Liv loves meeting new people and creating a welcoming experience for every client. Her goal is simple: to ensure everyone leaves the salon feeling confident, happy and looking their best.

Fin has over nine years of industry experience, beginning his journey at just 17. Trained in London, he brings creativity, precision and a strong eye for detail to every haircut. Inspired by fashion, travel and continuous self-improvement, Fin is always looking for new ways to develop his craft. Driven and focused, his long-term ambition is to build a strong personal brand and see his work featured in major fashion campaigns and magazine cover shoots.

With nearly 20 years of industry experience, Krisha trained in London with Toni & Guy, building strong foundations in hairdressing and barbering. Early in her career, she worked behind the scenes on shoots and shows, assisting leading hairstylists and developing her creativity. She later ran her own salon for 10 years, gaining valuable experience in both the craft and business of hair. Now part of Luchmun Studios, Krisha is excited to continue learning, growing and working alongside a talented team.

Grace trained at the London College of Beauty, completing Levels 2 and 3 in Hair and Media Makeup before advancing her styling education at Pinewood Studios. She began her career in film, television and theatre, specialising in hairstyling and wigs. After transitioning into salon life and retraining in hairdressing, Grace discovered her passion for colour. She now specialises in balayage and lived-in colour, creating soft, dimensional results designed to grow out beautifully.
